Founded in 1984, Bay City Supply was purchased by Marty Jelinski in August 1990.  At that time a staff of six operated out of a 3,000 s.f. warehouse.  A new direction was initiated by focusing on customer service with absolute integrity.

We sourced innovative suppliers on the cutting edge of the cleaning industry.  We focused on offering our customers sustainable cleaning solutions for their workplaces and homes.

We not only encourage our customers to use sustainable cleaning solutions, we practice sustainable solutions in many aspects of our business.  In 2005 we moved into our current location at 1250 Iowa St. in Bellingham, WA.  We developed the site for our needs and committed to improving our business practices.  Our site development included an innovative storm water treatment pond that filters all building and parking lot runoff, cleaning and cooling the water flow before it enters Whatcom Creek.

We are a long standing member of local business network Sustainable Connections.  We participate in many of the network’s sustainable practice programs including : “Toward Zero Waste” “The Whatcom watershed Pledge”  “The Community Energy Challenge”, we are a “Green Power Participant” and we have supported the “Buy Local” program since its inception.
